There's more to our Director of Marketing Communications Jessica Fagherazzi Oberwortmann than a long and complicated last name (just try pronouncing it really fast).
We had her answer a few questions about herself for you to become more familiar with the person behind our corporate branding.
How would you describe your day at work?
My days are always different. Some things are pretty much the same, though—I'll walk through our doors, pour myself some coffee and check our social media. I’ll brainstorm a little about creative efforts for the month, design something (there’s always something) and work on some of our events. I’ll probably be cracking jokes and laughing at my coworkers' (which are much better than mine) in between.
What is a usual day for you after work?
Arrive home, play with our dog, put some Bossa Nova on and plan my next adventure in the kitchen. My husband and I will then most likely do the usual—share a glass of wine and talk for hours. We talk an abnormal amount.
What's your most annoying habit?
Constantly reading and talking about travel and planning the next one. It can get pretty annoying.
Your dream trip?
Where did you last go on vacation?
What CD is closest to you right now?
I collect vinyls. Jimi Hendrix’s “Axis: Bold as Love” is an all-time favorite. I cry every time I listen to “Little Wing”.
What do you do when no one is watching?
I pull a prank on them.
What book are you currently reading?
“It” by Stephen King.
Any nicknames you've been given at Jaco?
Not that I know of...but I'm pretty infamous for eating pizza with mayo. I know you're judging. But I was born and raised in Brazil, and Brazilians eat their pizza with mayo. You should try it sometime.
We said no, thank you.
