Get Familiar With Dylan Currier

The Colorado native started with Jaco as a superintendent last spring, and has now joined us at the office as an assistant project manager. Married with a 2-year-old son and an 8-year-old daughter, Dylan brings to the team over thirteen years in the industry and a strong safety-driven background in commercial and industrial construction. Get to know him a little better below.

What was your favorite band 10 years ago? 

Jedi Mind Tricks.

Been anywhere recently for the first time? 

This past summer I went to Niagara Falls with the family for the weekend. It’s really just one big tourist trap.

How do you like your eggs?

Scrambled is the way to go.

What’s your favorite breakfast cereal?

Fruit loops with marshmallows.

What is the nerdiest thing you do in your spare time?

In my spare time, I enjoy a good old fashion clash of clans battle. Not sure if that game is still in?

What, if anything, have you ever re-gifted?

I have been known to re-gift hats.

What’s the strangest talent you have? 

I am fairly good at picking up things with my feet. 

What was your childhood nickname?

“Nasty D” due to my moves on the football field.

Do you have any strange phobias? 

I HATE RUBBER BANDS.

What are three things still left on your bucket list? 

Snowboard in Alaska and Chile. Go on a safari in some place in Africa. Kayak the Grand Canyon.

If you could be any animal, which would you be?

Honey badger.

Cats or dogs? 

Dogs (I would prefer a pig but the wife won't allow it).

What's the craziest thing you've ever done? 

Skydiving in Arizona.

What are you currently watching on Netflix? 

Peaky Blinders.

What's the best meal you've ever had? 

All you can eat crawfish and crab legs.

Who would you most like to swap places with for a day? 

Shaun White or Jeremy Jones would be pretty sweet to switch spots with.

What do you love the most about your job? 

The people.

Jaco To Start Building at Louis Armstrong New Orleans Intl. Airport

PM Kayne Shum and Superintendent Jeff Kinniburgh are getting ready to head to New Orleans for Jaco’s newest addition to our portfolio, 6 brand-new spaces in the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport. Among the stores that we have been awarded are the accessories manufacturer and retailer Brighton Collectibles, the all-things-New Orleans Nola Couture, the travel apparel TripAdvisor, southern goods shop Fleurty Girl, and the sports store The Scoreboard. Construction starts mid-September.
