Meet Braxton Saye, Traveling Superintendent

Join us in welcoming Braxton Saye to the Jaco team! Braxton is coming on board as a Traveling Superintendent, and we’re excited to see the expertise and dedication he’ll bring to our projects across the country. Welcome to Jaco, Braxton!

What would you be doing if you weren’t doing this?

I’ve always wondered what I would do if I wasn’t in construction, if I had to guess, it would be something with coaching/personal training.

What do you like to do when you are not working?

When I’m not at work, I spend most of my free time at the gym. I do bodybuilding and recently got into running as well.

Best career lesson you have learned so far?

Trust your subs/workers but always verify the work, no matter how much you trust them.

What keeps you motivated at work?

I stay motivated at work by being thankful for the position that I’m in and the opportunities I’ve been given, not many people my age have the privilege of running their own projects, being so young keeps me motivated because I know I am very lucky to be where I’m at in my career.

What is the most rewarding part of your job?

The most rewarding part of my job is being able to drive by a project I worked on in the past and say “I built that”.

One thing you cannot resist?

Sweet treats: cookies, donuts, brownies, etc.

Where is your favorite place to be?

My favorite place to be is at the gym, no matter how long or hard of a day, I always feel better after going to the gym.

First concert?

The first concert I’ve ever been to was Kenny Chesney.
