What would you be doing if you weren’t doing this? Preferably, I would have a piece of land and raise cattle.
What do you like to do when you are not working? I enjoy working out, hunting, fishing, and spending time with my dog and family.
Best career lesson you have learned so far? Life is all about relationships; Relationships matter more than knowledge. Skills open doors, but it’s trust and connections that keep them open and move you forward.
What keeps you motivated at work? Colossians 3:23 “23 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, 24 since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.” I try to always have this verse on my heart. It helps me to maintain focused on what truly my purpose is.
What is the most rewarding part of your job? Providing a high-quality product for our customers and building life-long relationships.
Where is your favorite place to be? My favorite place to be is in a deer stand at sunrise.
Best place you have traveled to? The best place I have traveled to is Lake Pelletier just north of Thompson in Northern Manitoba, Canada. I went on a couple fishing trips to this lake when I was younger, where we are dropped off on an island in the middle of the lake by a floatplane and survive off of the fish we catch. There is no civilization for about 100 miles from us.
Tell us something that might surprise us about you. I am marrying my high school sweetheart from Freshman year of high school. We have been together since I was 15.
