WELCOME OUR NEW PROJECT MANAGER, CHAD HEITMAN!

Chad has joined our team as a Project Manager and we’re excited to have him on board! We’ve asked him a few questions for you to get to know him better. Welcome to Jaco, Chad!

Years in the construction industry: 30+

Previous job positions: Most recent – GM of Comfort Systems HVAC (2011-Oct 2019); Commercial Construction Manager for R. Messner Construction (2000-2011); I grew up framing houses, laying brick, erecting metal buildings and roughing in electrical through high school and college. In short, I’ve been in and around construction my entire life.

One (or more) reason(s) to be excited to work for Jaco: Simply put, Josh and Michael have assembled a terrific team, full of talented people that take pride in their work but also like to have fun in the process. I always enjoyed working with Jaco as the HVAC subcontractor during my time at Comfort Systems. I often commented that if I decided to get back in the “big game” the only opportunity I would consider would be with Jaco.

Jobs you’ll be working on: Four Points Hotel in Denver, CO and Pacific Dental in Lawrence, KS.

Family: Two daughters – Love (20) and Faith (18).

Favorite hobby: Coaching Club Volleyball for the FSC Cougars. I’m not sure I’d call it a hobby because I put in the same amount of hours each year as a full time job, however, it’s certainly the most rewarding thing I do. Outside of that, I enjoy bowhunting and attending Kansas City Chiefs football games.

Birthplace: Wichita, KS.

Fun fact about you: Hmmm… Well, I’d say I’m currently in the “second adolescence” phase of my life… so having fun and looking for new and exciting experiences is what I’m all about these days. If it sounds fun, count me in!
