Russell Child Development Center is a community based not-for-profit organization located in Garden City, KS. Founded in 1965, RCDC is the umbrella agency for early childhood programs in 19 Southwest Kansas counties, including Child & Adult Food Program, Healthy Steps, Learn & Play, Positive Parenting and many others.

The Russell Child Development Center team was in need of a facility that could check many boxes. The onsite staff regularly schedules visits from physicians to physical therapists for specialized treatments for children throughout Western Kansas—whom otherwise might not be able to logistically receive treatments or services. Jaco is proud to have been the contractor of choice to perform the construction of a new 23,000 SF office multi use facility for RCDC. The building is a mixture of office, medical, training, and warehouse use, and was completed within 365 days.

The organization has had a positive impact on the lives of countless children and their families over the years, enjoying a reputation of providing high quality services with integrity. Jaco is incredibly proud to have been a part of the history of Russell Child Development Center, by creating a brand-new space with lots of room to enable their staff to keep up their amazing work and do even more.
